OUR SERVICES

Passport

The Embassy will send the Application to be processed by the Central Immigration and Passport Office in Georgetown, Guyana via courier. This process can take approximately three (3) months.

Emergency Travel Certificate

The application for an Emergency Travel Certificate has to be submitted in person at the Embassy, once an appointment has been made.

VISA

Under normal conditions, Applications for Visas should be submitted at least one (1) month in advance of the proposed date of entry into Guyana.

Certificate of Non-Impediment to Marriage

The Applicant is required to confirm receipt of the Certificate and other documents by signing and returning to the Embassy the “Receipt of Documents Slip” via email address (consular@embassyofguyana.be).

Registration as a Citizen of Guyana

The Registrant becomes eligible to apply for a Republic of Guyana Passport once the Registration process has been completed.

An Application for Renunciation of Citizenship can be submitted to the Embassy either in person or through the post

Police Certificate of Character

National Insurance Scheme

Pensioners are required to appear in person (by appointment) at the Embassy in order to have the Life Certificates and other Documents/Forms notarized on the same day.
